situation

artisan.ai is an outbound sales and marketing platform. the core component of the platform is powered by an AI Business Development Representative (Ava) who automates your entire outbound workflow. the company needed a a new set of tools to increase their product feature set and i was excited to lead their ai product solution.

task

lead the product design and new feature implementation through a comprehensive competitive analysis and a product requirements document (prd). the PRD focused on defining key features and resources for the product. my role was to lead the product strategy, ensuring the dialer would stand out in a competitive market.

action

1. market research & competitive analysis: i conducted an in-depth analysis of nooks.ai and orum.ai dialer products, focusing on their key features, strengths, weaknesses, and user feedback. i created a feature comparison matrix and identified unique selling points to position artisan.ai’s product competitively in the market.

2. wireframes & mockups: to design the product, i translated competitive insights into a detailed prd. this included user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, wireframes, mockups, and success metrics. i ensured brand alignment while designing functionality to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience.

3. resource scoping: i estimated engineering tasks by breaking them down into front-end, back-end, and testing efforts. i outlined the necessary resource requirements and proposed a development timeline that balanced cost-efficiency with high-quality implementation.

delivered a clear product strategy through the PRD, aligning artisan.ai’s parallel dialer with market needs while ensuring it stood out from competitors. provided a resource plan that balanced budget constraints with high-quality development, helping the company move forward with confidence in product execution.
